*is in her bed sleeping in the middle of the night*
*outside her window is lit by orange and red*
*an explosion rocks the whole castle and she jolts awake*
*there is screaming and shouting, the walls starting to crumble*
*She slips out of bed and runs over to the window to see what's going on*
*another exlosion sends her back into the centre of the room*
*she sits up coughing, parts of the roof falling around her*
*a man bursts through her door*
Princess, we have to go.
Yona: Hak...what's going on?
*Hak lifts her up and goes towards the door*
We're being attacked.
*intruders run forward and block the exit*
*Hak swears under his breath and sets the princess down*
You'll have to go out the secret passage. I'll protect you.
*Yona stares at him*
W-what? No...you can't leave me...
*Hak walks forward with his scythe*
Princess, go. I'll be right behind you.
*he lunges into the attackers, slicing them open*
*Yona opens the door to the passage but hesitates, watching him fight*
*Hak jumps over another group and continues to slash away*
Yona, go!
*She runs through the dark passage in her nightdress, almost tripping a couple of times*
*She reaches the end and runs into the trees*
*She walks along to the left seeing the courtyard, it's full of soilders and flames licking up the side of her home*
*She looks closer and sees her servants being brought out, their hands tied behind their backs*
*A dark figure walks over to them and says something that she couldn't make out*
*She looks around for her parents but can't see them*
*Then 3 soilders bring out her mother and father and throw them to the ground in front of the man*
*Her parents expressions go from anger to shock as the man takes down his hood*
*Her childhood friend and crush, Su-won, Stood above her parents, a glinting blade in his hand*
*She heard movement in the passage beside her and ducked into the bushes*
*Hak appeared and whispered her name*
*She rises slowly then waves him over where they both look at the situation unfolding in front of their eyes*
*Hak freezes after seeing Su-won*
*They were all childhood friends and used to spend many days together, Now a man, Her cousin has come to take over the throne*
Su-won: Where is princess Yona?
*He said loud enough to be heard by them*
*The queen laughed*
You will never have Yona. She's the rightful heir of this kingdom.
*Her father breathed a sign of relief*
Thank goodness she escaped...
*Su-Won swore*
Don't be too sure. We will find her.
*He turned his back and started walking away*
Kill them all.
*Her parents eyes widened and struggled*
*Yona watched in horror as her parents were decapitated along with their loyal servants, others decided to join Su-won thinking he was the rightful king*
*She tried to scream but Hak covered her mouth and dragged her back away from the scene*
*Once they were far enough away Hak let go of her and she crumpled to the ground, tears running down her face and she sobbed*
*Hak hugged her tightly and didn't say a word*
